We are all born with a God-given destiny but reaching it can be thwarted or delayed because, after all, life happens. Tragedies, disappointments, loss, setbacks, your own will, and so many things can cloud the way. Maybe you’re discouraged or distracted. However, if you allow God to reveal His life-lessons in each situation you face, He will shape you, transform you, change your perspective, and ready you for your mission.
I love this simple, profound quote from author/minister Joyce Meyer who teaches people how to heal from mindsets, painful circumstances, and wrong thinking. “Have God make a message out of your mess.”
When I was in my mid-thirties a devastating event crushed me to the point of nearly becoming catatonic, but God took a hold of me during my devastation and led me to a change in my entire life-perspective. He gave me a glimpse of my destiny and infused me with a new passion and purpose for Him that lead to my healing. Once I was able to see more clearly, He revealed to me what my life-mission is–to help others do the same.
God has the keys to set you on a course that will have great impact on you–and on others. Embrace the journey and use these keys to find your way.
Allow God to change your mindsets and behavior so they align with His ways.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Take God’s chosen path for you.
Without a vision from God, you won’t know your eternal purpose. Let Him lead you in His way. Embrace His path. If you stay on the easy path, you lose in the end. If you stay on God’s narrow path, each challenge you overcome will strengthen you.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14 (NLT)
Be willing to pay the price
Every accomplishment and achievement in life requires training, commitment, hard work, pain, and perseverance.
But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? Luke 14:28-29 (NLT)
Don’t let life’s broken moments cause you to shrink back from your purpose. Let them make you stronger and more determined. Push through. Let God work in you His way and you will be an overcomer.
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 New Living Translation (NLT)
Fulfilling your destiny carries great fulfillment. I challenge you to assess where you are, Give God the opportunity to give you a new perspective. Allow Him to reveal His ways and plans for you. Then measure the cost, become an overcomer, and go for it!
Christian author Deborah Nazemi predicted recent natural disasters and Las Vegas attack
AUSTIN, Texas, October 6, 2017 – Author and prophetic voice, Deborah Nazemi wrote in 2008, “There will be terror in Las Vegas, and many will die.” Deborah warned of coming disasters that could bring America to her knees in her book, Red Alert America, Sound the Alarm. She predicted that there would be unprecedented natural disasters such as, out of control forest fires and devastating floods, and that Texas and Florida would experience destructive hurricanes. “There will be terrorist attacks worse than 9-11”, says Deborah. “There will be more crushing disasters that claim lives and devastate homes.” But Deborah’s message is not all doom and gloom. Her book gives hope in the midst of crisis. These things were prophesied and written nine years before it happened, and they are unfolding before our eyes, just as she foretold.
Because of the urgency of Deborah’s message, she is available – nationwide for radio, print, and television interviews. (Lives in Texas)

God is calling to us. In light of the tragedies, natural disasters, attacks, etc. that are happening at an alarming rate in the United States, many are wondering what is happening. I have heard some of the questions Americans are asking, and some of the responses. Some say God is out to get us, or God doesn’t care about us, while others say the government is behind it all. So what is really happening? More
Have you ever known or heard about someone who was struggling and suddenly their life changed for the better? Maybe they inherited a lot of money, won the lottery, or had a baby when they had been trying for years. Perhaps their suddenly was a breakthrough moment spiritually, or in the ministry. Suddenly a huge door opened for someone who had been faithfully ministering the word of God to a very small group even though they had heard God say that they were going to minister to great crowds, or overseas, etc. Maybe someone had been prophesied to that they had a great anointing for healing and hadn’t seen a more than a healing or two for years. Then suddenly when they least expected it, they experienced a powerful flow of the Spirit of God, and several spontaneous healings occurred.
What is your “suddenly” that you have been promised and not yet seen? How do you get from the promise to the fulfillment? Why do some people see the fulfillment of their God-given dreams and promises, and others don’t? More
Several years ago I had a very disturbing dream. In this dream, Osama Bin Laden was in the United States, only he was much younger. He had a beard that was trimmed close to the face and short hair, and his clothing was contemporary. His children were also in the United States, and he was hiding in a Catholic Church. He spoke to me and said he was planning to go to “the school” in early September. I knew he meant American schools. Even while I was sleeping, I was making mental notes to remember these details because they were so disturbing.
The next day, I kept thinking about this dream and feeling that this was a serious warning of danger to our children. Then I had the sickening impression that there were families in the U.S. who had come here with the intention of sacrificing their own children for the cause of Jihad. I saw these children being sent to elementary schools with hidden bombs to blow up the school and themselves.
The recent events in Russia, the Middle East, and Africa have been very disturbing. First, one of our ambassadors and the people with him were slaughtered in the American Embassy in Benghazi. Then Russia invaded the Ukraine. Not long ago, ISIS attacked a school in Africa and kidnapped all the girls for sexual slavery or worse. Now in Iraq, thousands of people are being slaughtered for refusing to convert to Islam. Christians are being persecuted and have had to flee from their homes, many of them being forced to watch while their wives and daughters are kidnapped and their children are beheaded and murdered in heinous ways. Is this the end? More
Have you felt frustrated lately, almost as though you are on the edge of a new dimension in your relationship with God, and yet you feel as though you have come up against and invisible wall? In 2004, I had been struggling with this for months. As I prayed and continued to seek God about this, I realized that if I was going to experience a new breakthrough in my life that it would take a serious time of consecration and soul searching. In other words, I had to really get serious with God. More
Since the beginning of time, satan has done everything in his power to disrupt the one-ness we were created for. In John 17, Jesus talks about how important it was to Him that we become one with other believers the same way that He and the Father are one. He knew that once we discover the power of being one, walking in synergy with one another, that nothing would stop the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

I hear the sound of the abundance of rain! We been experiencing extreme drought in many areas. In Texas, it is so bad that there are literally huge cracks in the ground. Streams have dried up, ponds are down to almost nothing. It’s been a long, very hot summer.
The other day I was praying, and I heard the Lord say that it is going to begin raining in September, so much so that some areas will have floods. Then He said that it is also a sign of a release of His ‘rain’ from heaven.
Some of you have been very faithful to wait upon the Lord even through the drought. It seems that everything has dried up; finances, work, even hope in some instances. But a remnant has remained steadfast and continued to be obedient, pressing in to His presence. You have waited for the release of promises. You have seen no fulfillment in the areas that you are filled with passion and promise, yet you have been faithful. More
